UCLH Charity

UCLH Charity supports patients, staff and medical research at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We aim to make a real difference and everything we do supports the patients treated by our hospitals, directly or indirectly. The NHS provides funding for healthcare, staff and equipment. Our role is to fund those added extras that make a huge difference to the lives of people using UCL Hospitals.

THE BRIEF

LUV was appointed to design a luxury patients’s hotel for cancer patients, the first of its kind in the UK, developed by UCLH Charity. The refurbishment, within two floors of an existing office building, provides 4* hotel accommodation with direct links to the adjacent UCLH Macmillan Cancer Centre in the event of an emergency. The project has been an overwhelming success with significant national media interest.
