To create a great digital product, the user Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of a website should work in tandem, with UI focusing on how a product looks and UX emphasising how it functions. Often, a poorly designed website might not exhibit a balance between the two, with one or the other overlooked, i.e. aesthetics receiving more attention and priority within the design process than functionality, or vice versa.
